project: G4 The Lloyd's Building
client: London Insurance Hub
location: London, UK
challenge
The Lloyd’s Building in London is the hub of the London Insurance Market. We were tasked with creating a digital environment that delivered a large amount of complex information in a concise and digestible experience.
concept
“Seeing through complexity” formed the foundation of the design language for the space. 12 interactive screens and a central digital wall create an informative experience, delivering depth of information in a layered UI. The central digital wall becomes the ‘AI brain’ that anchors the space and communicates with the 12 screens, which each enable deep dives into key topics. The entire experience is crafted to consolidate content from across the industry and present it in the most concise manner. This design allows for swift digestion of key topics when necessary while also facilitating detailed insight, all within an aesthetically beautiful and focus-driven environment.

At the heart of the space is the central digital wall, offering a captivating perspective into the company’s AI brain, encapsulating its values and distinctive strengths: we crafted a 5-minute looping video, leveraging AI, to delve into the intricacies of the brand, offering a dynamic visual exploration of its essence.

The 12 screens are each composed of three interactive layers: a moving gradient in the background eludes to the depth of expertise behind the brand, and organically moves throughout the space. The interactive grid embodies the company’s precision in the insurance market, which reacts to visitors navigating the screens. Lastly key information is allowed to surface elegantly on screen, enhancing depth and knowledge in each interaction.
